Well I must say Ive played a good handfull of Mario/nintendo games. Everytime I play a game like Mariokart or Marioparty or even Mario Tennis I MUST BE YOSHI or I dont play at all (yes im stuborn like that) Through my travels of playing such games NEVER have I seen a brown Yoshi in a game. Even the orange and purple Yoshi have made there apperances in Super Mario Sunshine but wheres the brown one?!?!
I must say this was kinda tricky to color. I did the skin color fine but then I got down to the shoes. What color where the shoes gonna be? In a panic I asked my fellow gamers for help. I got replies like "your really bored" or "why where you born?" but it didnt stop me!(yes they were meanies!) but when It came down to it I just picked a darkish gray off black. I didnt want to pick anyother color cause sadly they where all taken by other Yoshis. Well now that I have bored you with my tragic story please comment on the art. It took about 2hrs (which includes searching for the shoe color) and ummm yeah hope you like it!


Yoshi's shoe color:

Green = red
Red = dark blue
Darkblue= pink
Pink = yellow
Yellow = green
Light blue = purple
White = light blue
Black = white

These 2 im not sure off:
purple = pink
orange = orange

So Shigefumi Hino (creater of yoshi) where is the BROWN YOSHI!!!!!!

That is soooooooo sweet. A brown Yoshi, ha! And you know, I think those shoes match him perfectly, cause brown goes with gray off black very well ^^ Oh and gotta love that cute little expression. I could just hug it to death. @.o Although, then wouldn' i be kinda killing a rare animal.... Hmmm. Must be pondered on....

I was thinking of making alternative colours for yoshi and brown was on my list. I will inform you when I have made and submitted it, Just in case You are interested. But this picture looks very nice.

Well...I'm back but with seven new colours for yoshi. I used my original shade of brown with a slight tinge of orange in it and my original shoe colour that I was going to give it ( a very pale pinkish colour ) I still didn't realise that there are other people around the World who are wishing to see new Yoshi colours. I guess I'm not alone.

That's the cutest little thing! I love it to death!! Where is the brown Yoshi, ANYway? They have black, for Pete's sake. WHERE'S BROWN?!

But that's adorable! I love the way he looks at us! It's darling! And the coloring's awesome! WHY CAN'T I COLOR?!

Great Job! I Don't Think Brown Yoshi Gets Nearly Enough Attention. *Hugs Brown Yoshi* By The Way, As Far As I Know, Brown Yoshi's Only Appearance Was In Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island Where There Is A Tan Yoshi. Nice Work!

whoa! i knew there were only four types of yoshi's:
green
red
blue
and yellow..


(of course the single mario game with yoshi's was Super Mario World..:D)

Oh hey, Brown Yoshi. %D

He was only in Yoshi's Island, to my knowledge, though IIRC he also appears in the background of Yoshi's Story in the intro... I kinda wish he'd show up again, though.
